Press Day Visitors

The Press Day on Thursday was a busy affair. The sun shone and everything went well. Thank you to IV Squadron RAF for the three shiny new Hawk T2s that stopped by on a training sortie from Valley. They made an interesting comparison to the JP3 and Vampire predecessors. A quick glance in the cockpit was quite a revelation after the clutter and jumble in the Vampire. I showed the Hawk pilots the Vampire cockpit- they appeared really interested and even surprised by the archaic layout.
