Big Orange and Loud!

No, not a Beverly Hills zumba meeting, but a wonderfully noisy fire appliance that hails from Penzance Heliport. She's a Scammell Mk10 Crash Tender with a 14.5 litre, marginally silenced Cummins V8 that probably violates several strategic arms limitation treaties. When she starts up - and we seem to be finding several excuses to do so - car alarms go off in Plymouth.

She's immediately become the most popular exhibit among our younger visitors, though we do have to shoo away the big kids who work here to let them get close.
