Get Involved!

Membership of Classic Air Force is a great way to become an important part of preserving the species. Not only will your subscriptions be used to keep these irreplaceable gems in good repair for future generations, but you'll also have a voice and a presence in the future of what we do. That's because you're not joining a club, you're becoming an integral part of Classic Air Force, with a chance to get involved in our activities.

Of course, as "one of us", you have access to our premises free of charge whenever we're open, and you'll be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. We'll also keep you well informed, with a monthly e-mail newsletter and our quarterly members' magazine, The Meteor.

Gift Aid It!

It's important to remember that you're becoming a member of a charity. That means that, if you're a UK taxpayer, we can claim an extra donation from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs; under the Gift Aid scheme, every £1 you donate is worth £1.25 to the charity. If you're a higher-rate taxpayer, it's worth even more.

The more you're able to donate, the more the Trust can invest in saving precious aircraft for future generations. Membership starts at just £1 a week, all of which goes to support the Trust.

If you're able to donate £5 a week or more, then you become a Silver Member. As a thank-you we'll offer you the chance to fly free of charge in one of our aircraft each year; usually in the Prentice, Proctor or Rapide.

A donation of £10 a week or more makes you a Gold Member. This allows you two seats, either for yourself or to share with a guest, in one of our aircraft each year. As a Gold Member we may invite you to assist us at one of our flying or display events by becoming a crew member. Where the event is away from our base that may mean flying as observer in one of our non-pleasure-flying aircraft, including the jets.

We're working on meeting facilities and members' events to bring all of our membership together to work together on the future of this fantastic, unique collection. We hope you'll join us to make your invaluable contribution to protecting it for the benefit of future generations.
